The Venice Commission in cooperation with the Research Centre to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan organises a Regional conference for the legal professionals from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan as well as experts from several European countries to share their knowledge on different aspects of the administrative law.

On March 4th this year at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan there was held a meeting on the topic of "The practice of Habeas Corpus institute's application.", which was organized by Research Center under Supreme court of Uzbekistan. This event was organized in the framework of the National Action Plan on fulfilling the recommendations of the UN Human Rights Council on the outcome of Universal periodic review on Uzbekistan. The main purpose of the event was to discuss the practice of Habeas Corpus institute's application and to develop recommendations on its further development.
